White 2007 Porsche Cayman manual coupe For Sale.

2007 Porsche Cayman. The vin number is WP0AA29877U763495. 5 speed manual (NOT the S edition). Clean title and all the paperwork! I would like to sell it quickly, so I am willing to accept reasonable offers, but I will not go lower than $15,000. I am moving to Georgia in the next few weeks, and this awesome machine just doesn’t have enough space for my stuff. This car has served me very well throughout my sweet time with it. I bought it from its second owner in March 2025. It is in great condition, but definitely not perfect, so I want to be as honest and transparent as I can about it.

Pros:

– This car can move! A lot of power, especially at higher RPMs.
– The engine runs beautifully and the transmission is extremely smooth. The shifter can feel a little sticky when it’s very cold outside; but even then, it’s still drivable and only takes a few minutes to warm up.
– Cornering. Exceptional stiffness and hardly ever slips.
– All windows and headlights work, with the exception of one fog light that needs to be replaced.
– The interior is in very good condition. The leather has some wear that can be seen in the photos, but overall very good.
– Tires. The current tires are about a year and a half old and only have about 2000 miles on them.
– Little to no rust. The undercarriage and paint are practically rust free. The only location with rust is surface rust on the edges of the brake disks and lugs nuts for the wheels.

Cons:

– Air Conditioning. The AC unit does not work at all and needs to be fully replaced. I have survived the summer by simply rolling the windows down.
– Battery drain and kill switch. The battery will die if left for several days without starting the car unless the kill switch (shown attached to the key fob) is used. This fully disconnects the battery and solves the problem, but you have to remember to do it.
– Door locks. The electronic key fob is dead, so I just manually unlock both doors. Additionally, the left side door has to be unlocked from the inside driver’s side.
– Spoiler. The spoiler is fully stuck in the upright position. It does not affect the car in any way.
– PSM Failure. As shown in the photo with the dashboard display, the car always reads “PCM Failure” immediately after startup. This is the Porsche Stability Management, which is an unnecessary computer stability system Porsche used that had a ton of bugs. The warning goes away after a bit of driving. It does not affect driving at all.
– The brakes pads need to be replaced at some point. It still brakes just fine, but they are not as responsive as they could be.
– Emergency brake cable tightness. The hand brake cable is loser than it should be. While it is still plenty to keep the car parked on a hill, I always put it in gear as well.
– I have not been able to store it in a garage, but I ensure to cover it as often as I can. There is some cracking of the paint shown in the photos (which existed when I first purchased it) but not caused by any rust.
– Carfax shows an “unreported accident”, which was simply the old alternator belt snapping on the highway this Spring. It was completely repaired by a professional mechanic.
